Beary Berry Honey is a family-operated apiary owned by Sam and Sandra Thiessen near Tofield, Alberta. We have been beekeeping with our children since 2004.
Today we carry several different value-added product lines, all handcrafted in our very own commercial kitchen, using pure Alberta unpasteurized honey from our own hives and blended with all-natural ingredients, Our line now includes over 40 products including, flavoured honeys, glazes, vinaigrettes, tea-infused honey, mead and skin care.
Black Currant Mead
Our Black Currant Mead combines the bold intensity of sun-kissed Currants with the smooth subtleties of Alberta Honey. This bold mead provides a complex flavour profile with earthy undertones, and pairs well with dark chocolate and smoked cheeses.
