The Alberta Food Processors Association (AFPA), a non-profit organization founded in 1974, represents over 300 member companies involved in the processing and packaging of food and beverage products throughout the province.
At AFPA, we are committed to enhancing the competitiveness of Alberta’s food and beverage industry by providing leadership, education, and advocacy. Our mission is to ensure that our members have the tools and resources they need to succeed in a rapidly changing market.
As an organization, we believe in the power of collaboration and partnership. We work closely with our members, industry partners, and government agencies to identify opportunities and overcome challenges facing the food and beverage industry in Alberta.
Our members represent a diverse range of companies, from large-scale processors to small, family-owned businesses, including meat and poultry, dairy, beverages, baked goods, and more.
In addition to our advocacy and education initiatives, AFPA also provides a range of member services, including training and development programs, access to industry events and trade shows, and opportunities for networking and collaboration.
