Grown here on our Alberta farm, our purple barley berries are a whole grain pantry staple. These barley berries are semi-pearled to help improve cooking time while still keeping their whole grain character.

Cook them and use them anywhere you would use rice, in grain bowls, soups, stews, salads or side dishes. These barley berries can also be milled into fresh flour for baking adding beautiful colour and whole grain texture to anything from pancakes and muffins to cookies.
