Churn or freeze Hibiscus Base
With an ice cream maker: Pour the chilled mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions (usually 20–25 minutes). Without an ice cream maker: Pour the mixture into a shallow dish, freeze for 30–40 minutes, then scrape with a fork to break up ice crystals. Repeat every 30 minutes until smooth and scoopable (about 3–4 hours total).
